Artist photo forSarah Jackson

Devon artist Sarah grew up by the Cornish coast. Her childhood informed her respect for animals and our natural world, which is reflected in her artwork.

Her richly textured collage work is created using recycled magazines – reinforcing the eco-conscious ethos of her work.

After graduating from Falmouth University in 2011 with a degree in Illustration, Sarah began working as a freelance editorial illustrator with commissions from The Wall Street Journal, German Wings airline and Starbucks. At the same time she began working on personal projects, expanding her portfolio and selling her artwork through a number of galleries, during which time her innovative use of collage quickly found popularity. Sarah founded the Jackson and Young studio in 2016, where she creates her stunning work. Sarah was awarded as the “Into the Blue” category winner at the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Years 2025 Exhibition, and won the Ronald Morgan Memorial Prize at the Royal Society of British Artists Exhibition, 2023.
