Artist photo forGary Walton

Gary was born in Worcester.

In 2004, after some years juggling the demands of a conventional job alongside his artistic practice, Gary was a finalist in the DeMontfort New Artist competition. This success signalled the start of significant professional success and recognition. His prize was a publishing contract with one of the UK’s leading art publishers where he quickly gained his international recognition.

Gary explains: “My work is very whimsical, romantic and happy: quirky and two-dimensional, combining an intriguing air of fantasy with a twist of reality within.”

Gary’s originals have now been internationally exhibited in London, New York and Hong Kong.

In addition, he is also a keen philanthropist and is known to donate his art to charity.

Gary’s work is extremely popular and widely collected, and so editions can be completely sold out quite quickly. We list the editions which we currently have in the gallery.
