Aaminah Snowdon

Aaminah is a self-taught, contemporary artist who typically works in acrylics on watercolour paper. The subject of her distinctive work is British wildlife, as well as farmyard and domestic animals, which she portrays with vibrancy and wit. Aaminah’s limited editions are widely collected.

Before pursuing her love of art to become a professional artist, Aaminah completed studies in Ancient History at The University of Birmingham. 

Aaminah was born in beautiful North Yorkshire and has had a strong connection to animals since early childhood. She regularly donates proceeds from her painting to animal charities.
